Laparoscopic AI Semen Purchase Agreement
By purchasing semen under the Laparoscopic AI (Lap AI) price, the purchaser agrees that the semen is being purchased
solely for use in laparoscopic artificial insemination or conventional artificial insemination.
The purchaser agrees that this semen
will not be used for IVF, embryo transfer (ET), in vitro embryo production (IVP), or any other embryo-production procedure.
The purchaser further agrees not to sell, transfer, or provide the semen to another individual, veterinarian,
reproductive facility, or other party for use in IVF, ET, IVP, or embryo-production procedures.
If the purchaser later wishes to use any remaining semen for IVF or ET, the purchaser must receive prior approval
and pay the applicable difference between the Lap AI semen price and the IVF/ET semen price
before the semen is used for that purpose.
IVF / Embryo Transfer Semen Purchase Agreement
By purchasing semen under the IVF / Embryo Transfer (ET) price, the purchaser is granted full reproductive-use
rights for each semen straw purchased under this agreement.
The semen may be used for IVF, in vitro embryo production (IVP), embryo transfer (ET), laparoscopic artificial
insemination (Lap AI), conventional artificial insemination, or other assisted reproductive procedures.
Embryo Production & Ownership
Semen purchased at the IVF/ET price may be used for
unlimited embryo production
from the purchased straw. There is no restriction on the number of IVF or embryo-production procedures that may
be performed using that straw.
The purchaser owns all embryos and offspring produced through the authorized use of the semen and may, at the
purchaser’s discretion:
- Retain or implant embryos;
- Freeze and store embryos;
- Sell or transfer fresh or frozen embryos;
- Sell, transfer, register, exhibit, or breed resulting offspring; and
- Use resulting offspring in the purchaser’s own breeding program.
The purchaser may provide the semen to a veterinarian, IVF laboratory, embryo-transfer facility, or other
reproductive service provider as necessary to perform these procedures.
The higher IVF/ET semen price reflects the
additional reproductive and commercial embryo-production rights
granted with the purchase of the semen.
